Inaugural Card Class

I am going to try giving a card class!

I have done parties/workshops before, but not a class. Here is my game plan:

All of my events include at least one fun fold. This class will feature a Fall themed window sliding card.

Cost is $20 for four (4) cards, or FREE with a minimum order of $20
You will receive complete kits and instructions to make the following 4 cards:

Because the focus in on the window sliding card, more time will be given to making this card, but since there are four cards, I plan to do the class like the shops and most of the work will be done in advance. Space is also limited, so I am encouraging folks to sign up in advance to save a seat. I also have a nice group of friends who are willing to be helpers - and I help them when they need it.

I am still working on a date, but hope to hold the class sometime between October 15 and October 29.

New Toy!

I used some rewards points and got a Brother Scan n Cut DX!!

I tried it out today and made this simple card. I had to scale down the size of the paw and for the word woof!  I learned how to change the card stock to be cut size, since I was using a scrap.

So far so good!

Catalog Launch Party Prep

I have a local Catalog Launch party planned for June 6.

Stampin' UP! has a new catalog going live June 4 and I will now temp you with the front cover and some miscellaneous goodies!

The 5 color strips of cardstock are the new 2019-2021 InColors and I LOVE them! From left to right we have Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, Purple Posy & Rococo Rose.

A small sample of some pretty ribbon and these cards (from left to right) were made using the Come Sail Away Suite, the It Starts With Art Bundle & the Floral Essence Bundle. The flowers on the card on the right are made from the new and very pretty Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock (comes with three colors in the pack).

The card below uses the Free As A Bird stamp with Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and new scalloped lace trim.

That about covers it for now!!

I will be busy the next few weeks in preparation for the party, but will post party cards, etc. after June 6.
